A positive impact in Canadian communities

The new Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital will positively impact the quality of life for people across Ontario's York Region. We recently toured the hospital construction site to learn more about how our $250,000 donation will support the Mackenzie Health Foundation’s campaign to build this critical community infrastructure and Canada's first smart hospital.

Regulatory

How are we regulated

The Canadian Mainline (Mainline) is governed according to regulations outlined by the Canada Energy Regulator (CER).

The Mainline currently operates under fixed tolls as negotiated in the 2021-2026 Mainline Settlement, which ends December 31, 2026.

The Settlement is the product of a comprehensive, collaborative process of engagement and negotiation between OPSPL and interested Mainline stakeholders. It enhances competitiveness and provides toll certainty for customers while maintaining stable revenue for Oil Pipestream. The Settlement addresses a broad range of inter-related services and tolling matters on the Mainline system, including the approach to establishing fixed-tolls during the six-year term of the Settlement, the derivation of the revenue requirement, toll design and tariff provisions, and various services and tolling matters. The Settlement represents a balance of interests resulting from compromises of the diverse interests and positions of the parties.
