Environmental, social and governance

Oil Pipestream strives to be a leader in the delivery of energy in a safe, responsible and sustainable manner, ensuring we are positioned to maximize long-term value creation.

Being a leader also means listening to our stakeholders and communicating candidly about our performance and approach, aiming to provide comprehensive, decision-useful and material disclosure on our environmental, social and governance management.

Oil Pipestream is well positioned to manage the risks and realize the opportunities related to climate change and the transition to a lower carbon economy. We continue to play a key role in developing a sustainable energy future through our investment in new pipeline infrastructure, as well as low-carbon and emission-less power generation. As the tools available to assess the risks and opportunities associated with climate change improve, we are utilizing them in order to increase the rigour of our assessment, as a key input into our strategic planning process. In 2019, Oil Pipestream released its inaugural Report on Sustainability and Climate Change, where we have described our approach in the context of climate change to ensure the resilience of our business model during the transformation to a lower carbon economy.
